10. Amendments


10.1     Subject to the provisions of the Labour Act, as amended from time to time, any of the provisions of this Constitution may be repealed or amended by resolution of National Congress provided that a simple majority of the delegates attending Congress vote in favour of the amendment. Notice of any proposed amendment shall be reflected in the duly circulated agenda for Congress.

10.2     The Central Committee shall be empowered to amend the provision of the constitution delineating the scope of the union, provided that two thirds of its members vote in favour of the amendment and provided further that the amendment is ratified by the next National Congress.
